With extensive experience in the aviation industry, Lesley drives the evolution and growth of Qantas Loyalty. Sitting across the portfolio of brands and capabilities, Lesley leads one of the world’s leading loyalty businesses.
Appointed to the business in 2012, Lesley was the architect of the new structure and the creation of Qantas Loyalty, the next evolution of what was then the Qantas Frequent Flyer business.
This step represented the shift in the business to be better able to serve the business stakeholders and customers.
Brian has over 18 years’ experience as a financial professional across FMCG, aviation and the loyalty sector. Brian is a key member of the team that established Australia’s leading coalition loyalty program. Through continued innovation of the business model, he helped deliver double-digit growth every year since its inception. Now focused on creating a true Loyalty business, Brian leverages his financial and commercial acumen to create value for new and existing partners, while continuing to innovate the business strategy to drive new value for shareholders.
Executive Manager Loyalty Operations
Responsible for the design and delivery of customer services, Igor manages the relationship between Qantas and over 30 partner airlines and affiliates across the globe. He believes loyalty is about engagement with brands, products and services – underpinned by excellent customer service to deliver value to both Qantas customers and the Qantas business.
Executive Manager Red Planet
Vaughan has over 15 years of experience in loyalty, financial services and strategic management consulting. Vaughan is a key member of the team that established Australia’s leading coalition loyalty program. Since joining Qantas Loyalty in 2007 Vaughan has held roles leading the strategy, commercial, analytics and innovation functions. Vaughan now leads the Strategy, Insights and Analytics and Red Planet teams.
Chief Information Officer
For almost two decades, Sam has helped drive technological development across various aspects of the Qantas businesses including delivering the world-first technology seen in the successful Faster, Smarter Check-in. Sam believes technology contributes to operational excellence and develops the kind of innovation required for business.
Chief Marketing Officer
Jo is responsible for the overarching marketing and brand strategy for Qantas Loyalty, including Qantas Frequent Flyer and nine other Loyalty brands. Jo joined Qantas in 2009 to manage internal communications, before taking on responsibility for digital communications across the Qantas Group and then becoming Head of Digital and Entertainment for the airline. She has more than 15 years’ global experience leading digital, communication, marketing and entertainment strategies for large organisations, including Optus, British Telecom and Google. Jo is passionate about the impact technology has on customer experience and the role marketing and communications can play in enhancing it.
Executive Manager Commercial
David has over 25 years in commercial leadership specialising in finance, travel and hospitality. After expanding his career overseas, he rejoined Qantas in 2013 as the Chief Operating Officer in Qantas Catering and transformed the in-flight experience. Now with Qantas Loyalty, he will channel his passion for our customers and commercial outcomes to successfully manage partner relationships, and oversee Aquire and Accumulate.
Executive Manager Loyalty Services
Trained as a Chartered Accountant, Rachel joined the Qantas Risk Management and Assurance department in 2003 before leading Strategy and Transformation for Regional Airlines from 2005. Since then Rachel has built up her leadership, strategic, commercial and operational experience across a range of roles within Regional Airlines where she was involved in the growth and expansion of the Regional network. In 2012 Rachel was appointed Head of Loyalty Strategy which included responsibility for delivery of customer segmentation, before taking on her current portfolio leading Program Design, Customer Analytics, Qantas Cash and Qantas Communities.
Head of Legal
With over 16 years of legal experience in aviation, competition and corporate law, Sarah is responsible for leading Qantas Loyalty’s dynamic legal team. The team provide commercially driven, practical legal advice to add value to and support the business while managing legal risk. Prior to her role in Loyalty, Sarah had a dual role, managing the Qantas Public Company team and also managing a range of legal initiatives for Qantas International, Freight and Catering including various capital management initiatives, the successful declaration of Sydney Airport in 2005, negotiation of the first Qantas-American Airlines alliance and the sale of various Group assets including StarTrack Express and Qantas Defence Services.
Rob De Bella
Chief Financial Officer
Before joining Qantas Loyalty in June 2015, Rob held key financial positions across the Qantas Group, including successfully supporting the recovery and repositioning of the Qantas international business. To Qantas Loyalty he also brings over 20 years of finance, strategy and management experience from the professional services, FMCG and aviation sectors. Rob is passionate about leveraging this experience to create ongoing value for the program members and partners, support investment in new business opportunities and deliver incremental shareholder value.
